To SEO or Not To SEO? That Is The Question
It seems everyone knows what Search Engine Optimization is to have different opinions on how effective and, therefore, how important it really is. In this article I will add my opinion to the ongoing discussion about Search Engine Optimization, commonly abbreviated SEO.
So, what is SEO? In the unlikely event that you have not heard of optimizing websites, blog posts or articles for like Google and Yahoo! are just putting it to use keywords and phrases in the title and body underlying HTML of your content that you think people use machines searchers use to find your content. This is an ongoing process to ensure that your website is highly visible search engine. This is an ongoing process because the search engines are constantly changing the ‘rules’. I’m not a big proponent of SEO. That’s not to say that I do everything I can ensure that my website, articles and blog posts are easy to find. I use the plugin on my blog to help make the post look and try to use the right keywords in my title and content. The one thing I tried to do over and above consideration is to provide excellent SEO content.
I write for my readers, not for search engines. I strongly believe that if I write so that my content is valuable and address the needs of readers keywords and other parts of SEO will come naturally, as I wrote. If I spend time thinking about how search engines will see the quality of my content My content will suffer. After all, content is king! For a moment, thinking about things from the point of view of search engines. Ask yourself, “What are they doing?” Simply put, they try to give their users the best and most relevant answers to their queries … nothing more, nothing less. The reason why they seem to ‘change the rules’ as often as they do not have anything to do with trying to make it harder for site owners or authors of the article. Rather, it is about providing their users with the best experience possible.
Spending large amount of time optimizing your content for the benefit of Google, Yahoo or any search engine will be important to you to name seems time wasted, in my opinion. You are better to spend time creating great content for letting the search engines do what they do best. For me, the traffic generated from natural search results is bay far the smallest portion of the traffic that I can develop. Another way to attract visitors gives much better results and this is where I always put the most effort. More importantly, this method which I will continue to put in the most effort.
